Trixie Bet Calculator
Calculate your potential returns from four bets on three selections. Enter your selections and stake to see your possible winnings.
What Is a Trixie Bet?
A Trixie bet consists of four total bets based on three selections—culminating in three doubles bets and one treble. The doubles bet combines two selections at a time, like Selection 1 & 2, Selection 1 & 3, or Selection 2 & 3. The treble bet combines all three selections, meaning Selecition 1, 2, and 3.
Unlike an accumulator, where all selections must win for any return, a Trixie bet provides payouts if at least two of the three selections win. This makes it less risky than an accumulator while still offering the potential for high returns if all three selections win. For example, if two selections win, one double pays out. Otherwise, if all three selections win, all three doubles and the treble payout, resulting in higher total returns.
How to Calculate a Trixie Bet
To place a Trixie bet, you need to select three outcomes from different events. Since there are four separate bets, the total stake for a Trixie is calculated by multiplying your stake per bet by four. The potential returns depend on the odds of each selection and how many of them win.
Our Trixie Bet Calculator lets you input key variables—such as your stake per bet and the odds for each selection—and calculates your potential returns for singles, doubles, trebles, and the total payout. Below is an explanation of each input field and how it affects the output.
Inputs Explained
Stake per Bet
The "Stake per Bet" field determines how much money you are wagering on each of the four bets within the Trixie. For example, a $10 stake means you are betting $10 on each double and the treble. That makes your total stake $40 since you multiply it by four total bets. Your total risk increases with higher stakes, but so do your potential returns.
Selection Odds
A Trixie requires exactly three selections. For each selection, you need to input its specific odds. Odds can be entered in decimal format (e.g., 2.00) or American format (e.g., +100). Decimal odds are often preferred because they directly represent the multiplier for your winnings.
Outcome of Selections
The calculator assumes different scenarios based on how many of your selections win. If only two selections win, then one double pays out. If all three selections win, then all three doubles AND the treble pay out. By entering these details into the calculator, you can see your potential profit or loss under various outcomes. Here's what each output field means:
- Singles Return: Although singles aren't technically part of a standard Trixie bet (which excludes single bets), this field shows what you would earn if singles were considered.
- Doubles Return: This is the combined payout from all winning double bets.
- Treble Return: This represents the payout from the treble if all three selections win.
- Total Return: This is the sum of all payouts (singles + doubles + treble), representing your overall winnings.
- Total Stake: This represents the combined amount of money wagered across all four bets in your Trixie (calculated as your stake per bet multiplied by four), showing your total financial commitment for this betting strategy.
- Profit: This indicates your net winnings after subtracting your total stake from all returns, representing the actual money you'll pocket after accounting for your initial investment if your selections are successful.

What happens if one selection loses?
If one selection loses, none of the trebles or doubles involving that selection will pay out. However, if two other selections win, one double will still provide a return.
Can I use different sports for my selections?
Yes! You can combine events from different sports as long as they are separate events.
What's the difference between a Trixie and an Accumulator?
An accumulator requires all selections to win for any return, while a Trixie provides payouts even if only two selections win.
